Why Teal Harbor

We built the agency we believe employers deserve.

Teal Harbor Insurance Agency brings the knowledge and resources gained in a large-brokerage environment to a smaller, more responsive service model.

Market knowledge

We work with 12 insurance carriers across 23 states, with experience in quoting, underwriting, plan design, renewals, and the systems behind the process.

Direct attention

Responsive communication from people who understand your account, your employees, and your priorities.

Ongoing support

Help with enrollment, billing, plan changes, carrier issues, and renewals—not just the initial sale.

Why Teal Harbor exists

We built the agency we believe employers deserve

Large brokerages can offer deep marketplace knowledge, carrier relationships, and experience navigating quoting, implementation, service, and renewal challenges.

As those organizations grow, personal attention can become harder to maintain—especially for smaller employer groups. At many large agencies, the salesperson disappears after implementation and your account is handed to an overloaded service team.

Teal Harbor Insurance Agency is different. The personal attention you receive when choosing coverage continues for as long as we work together.

The rate question

A bigger agency does not buy you better rates

Insurance rates are the same regardless of which agency presents them. Large brokerages offer scale, not better pricing—and that often means less personal attention.

With a smaller brokerage, you get the same plans and rates with service from people who actually know your business.

How we get paid

Our services are completely free to you

Every insurance broker is paid through the insurance carrier. A commission is already built into the cost of the plan, and whichever broker services the account receives that commission.

That means working with us does not add any cost to your business. If you choose not to use a broker, the carrier simply keeps the commission instead.
